  • Deadline for online applications: 15th April, 2025
  • Duration of the Summer Internship: 1st June 2025 to 14th July 2025(30 days from date of joining)
  • Selection of Summer Intern is entirely up to first come first served basis.
  • A nominal fee of ₹3000(non refundable) per students is charged for laboratory access, workspace, and internet usage(Excluding Hostel accommodation fees).
  • Usually, upto 3 students can work in a group ( max. 4 students)
  • On completion of the Internship, certificate is issued by the IITG-TIDF division.
  • Regarding the hostel, applicants (wanted to opt for hostel) are advised to read the accommodation notice by IIT Guwhati attached: here
  • Students opting for hostel accommodation are advised to complete their internship by 10th July to avoid any issues related to their stay.
  • There is no provision for any stipend to interns. However, the best performing internship group will be allowed to work in TIH to extend their work to prototype level. Fund may be provided for the same.
  • Candidates applying for Summer Internship have to be Indian nationals.
  • Emailing individual faculty after filling up the application form, is not required.
  • The Eligibility criteria : B.Tech. / B.E. 4th/6th semester (Computer Science/ Electrical Engineering. Mechanical Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering/Design Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering.)
